What a shock that he would go to Stoke after what he has done so far with you.
When Stoke rang and said we would like to talk to your manager why didn't your club just say no.

It’s a done deal, it’s simply got to be.

They’ve contacted him straight after sacking their manager to gauge interest, told him what their conditions are and he’s fancied it.

He’s driving down to sign the contract.

We move on ….

Got to say I’m completely deflated about this mind.

This club never fails to kick you where it hurts
I think there's very possibility they've sounded him out on Saturday after the game and made the decision to sack O'Neill on the back of a positive response.

I haven't said that. We don't know what has happened. People are immediately blaming the club and I'm seeking some information on what the club has done to make Alex Neil want to talk to Stoke the club's fault

I’m saying the club should have acted in a way that didn’t lead us to this exact moment it’s a f***ing mess

He could have at least taken charge of the match tomorrow.
From our side, yes. From theirs, if it's already agreed (and there has to be a very good chance this was discussed, at least in principle, after the last result while he was down there) then why would he want to help us get three points?

I really like him. I really hope this is all being driven by the agent to line two sets of pockets using our emotion as collateral. I guess we'll soon find out.

I genuinely cannot believe this. This is most Sunderland thing I’ve ever seen happen. The fact that he’s driving down there now means it’s over for him here, even if the club statement just said they want him to stay

Edit: WAIT
