AN Press conference - CANCELLED

Heading up to Sunderland in 50 minutes, will have to listen to the press conference in the car.

Massively changed the mood around the club.

And that
Stokes wage bill at the last set of accounts was 50 million. That will probably have come down a touch. But they are probably still paying double to what we are.

They probably have a stronger squad than us. Added to the fact they'd probably be able Neil better wages its easy to see why he could be tempted to go.
And that wage bill is why they're in serious FFP trouble.
A lot more going on behind the scenes for the club to give him permission to speak to Stoke. Breakdown between manager and owners for this to happen imo. He’s as good as gone regardless now!
Unless it's in his contract that they have to give permission.

So many people with negativity on here.

Nowt has happened yet.

Blaming AN, KLD etc… anxious time yes. But the bile some are throwing out is crackers.

Me neither but over the last five or six days particularly I suspected there was disquiet. There’s a way managers communicate at times and journalists report stuff that just has an ominous ring. James Hunter putting that previous article out yesterday wasn’t a good sign. For all local journos get the ‘they know nowt’ treatment on here, their ears are often close to the ground and they work with managers closely.

Even if Neil isn’t appointed Stoke manager, I see no way back for him here having had talks with them. Regardless of whether or not he’s been short changed by the clubs hierarchy, we’re Sunderland and you can’t talk to Stoke and expect to be welcomed back. England and one of the real big clubs nigh be tolerated, but not many else.
Didn't hear what happened yesterday. Agreed it's a mess now even if he stays at safc

Has the timing of the presser been reset (I’ve read on a private WhatsApp chat it’s now at 2pm).

Has anyone seen him leave the presser location?

If he’s still there and talking at 2pm I don’t see his presser being about “cheers for the past few months, I am off down the road to a club in the same league we’ve just beaten”

Let’s chill and just enjoy the rollercoaster that is SAFC
