If I'd publicly fucked an important meeting off, the day before a big deadline to prepare for and speak to potential employees, I'd expect to be in a bit of bother.

Not saying this has happened yet.....
 

Nick Barnes just been on BBC Radio. His feeling is that Neil won't be present in the press conference. He said that when he shook Neil's have last it felt like a goodbye handshake.

Hoping it’s like Wagatha Christie all over again - owners have got wind if someone in the club leaking information, told a couple of suspects that Neil is going to speak to Stoke.

Press conference starts with KLD saying “Doris the tea lady has been leaking club information to the press and now she’s sacked”, before AN takes the chair as if nothing has happened!
 
It is bad enough him just going there to have an interview for the job, what does that tell the team right now even if he doesn't take it? He would drop us no problem, even if we were doing well. The more I think about it the more I say just get rid, sign a contract or move on. Hopefully we bring in someone who wants to be here, he has fooled a lot of people if he leaves.
