AN Press conference - CANCELLED

Do we have a say in who he talks to given his contract type/situation? Could it not be a case of there is nothing we can do about them talking to him? and from a media point of view sunderland give permission sounds more dramatic?

Where else is it.

Well he’s not turned up for a scheduled press conference whilst journalists are waiting, the Athletic have put a story saying the expectation on Wearside is that he’ll go and Keith Downie has followed suit by saying he’s talking to Stoke.

Whatever the outcome here, it’s quite uncomfortable for us as a club. Neil’s either manipulating a situation to improve his standing and / or terms and conditions here or he’s actually away.
