Lives in Dubai but is hearing noises from “inside the club”
FAir enough marra. I'm not one for Hunter all that much (edited the snippy post from earlier a bit). He's a nice fella but not all that much of a thinker when it comes to football. The article on the contract was pretty basic 'longer equals better' conventional stuff from a reporter who doesn't really get modern football all that much (as evidenced by his opinions when he makes podcast appearances). Certainly we could have done without the press conference delay today. However taken in isolation I really don't think the noises you mention are much in reality. This is what happens on here. Stuff that hasn’t been said becomes fact. Nowhere have i suggested it’s all going wrong behind the scenes.
My initial post said it’s not ideal about the press conference delay given the noises (ie Neil’s comments Re transfers, the sharing of an article from Hunter who is hardly a clickbait reporter and Neil topping the bookies odds).
Let’s hope it is all to do with signings / outgoings. Even better would be a new contract to put this 12 month rolling contract issue to bed
And what were the rumours?I have. might be shite but it was from a players brother.
There is not a cat in hells chance Neil is leaving.

Just pointing out the odds mean nowt sometimes. Poyet went in to 1/20. Betting was suspended on Keane. For us?
36,427Neil probably isn't leaving. But i don't think the 12 month rolling contract serves it's initial purpose now. When he was appointed, it suited both parties as it was an easy get out clause for AN should things not have gone well. We're now in the championship and looking to kick on. AN is a proven top end championship/ lower PL manager, we need to now back him with a 3/4 year deal.

Getting rid of Pulis worked well for youA bit better football than people condescending us into long ball football because it worked 14 years ago with Tony Pulis.
A bit of an attacking intent would be great. All football fans deserve that for their hard earned.

Bookies react quickly to bets being placed to minimise losses. If you whack £100 on Hughton to Stoke, his odds will be slashed.
Neil was one of the favourites. The presser is delayed. Punters put 2 and 2 together and pile in. The odds then drop because of the influx of bets.Just pointing out the odds mean nowt sometimes. Poyet went in to 1/20. Betting was suspended on Keane.

Sorry, I'm no expert on it, was he not the chap who was in charge of changing the style, bought a load of technical players on vastly inflated wages that started the decline?
