I can't agree. He spent decent enough money at Burnley and never showed any inclination to change his style. Selling Chris Wood was a perfect opportunity to do so, he just went out and signed bigger.

Leopards generally never change their spots. He claims he never gets big jobs or offers because he's British. I'd love to sit down with him one day and explain the real reason he never gets offers at big clubs.
Agree with this. In the first instance, yes, he might have been pragmatic, but he was there for 10 years. That's enough time to reshape the team to play how you want them to

You’re right. If a player or a manager is offered 20k a week on a 12 month deal or 40k on a four year deal the likelihood is that he’s not going to look at average attendances or league success from the early part of last century to help him make the decision.

Correct.

We all obviously have a huge love and affiliation for the club, but to 99.9% of players and managers, they couldn't give a shiney shite.

The reality is if Neil is offered a bumper increase in terms of years on a contract and salary elsewhere, he will likely be extremely interested, as we all would if it happened to us in our own industries.

Apparently season 3 of Sunderland till I die is happening. Also not happy with the Costa Rican player wanted proven championship player in. Alex Neil is not happy and is off.

The clubs communication department could quite easily extinguish these flames. They are either pissing themselves laughing at us, or preparing the statement, “Jonathan Woodgate returns to management”.

Ridiculous.

While I think Speakers is doing a cracking job, he has already proven that any talk of having a plan in place to replace the manager is pretty much nonsense, hopefully different next time.

I reckon lessons have been learned from last time. They’ll have names they’d want to speak to. It took two weeks last time and yes we lost points but long term they got it bang on didn’t they?

The overall job Dyche did at a club like Burnley with limited resources and less than 20,000 regular home supporters was absolutely fantastic. It’s that simple.

AN will remain as SAFC manager. This is all a typical social media, misinformed, meltdown.

A bit better football than people condescending us into long ball football because it worked 14 years ago with Tony Pulis.

A bit of an attacking intent would be great. All football fans deserve that for their hard earned.

Whilst I can't speak for you, I've mostly found that when folk say attacking intent, they really mean winning.

Was it Hughes that brought in footballers? was that enjoyable when you went down for example?

I'd have been well up for him a year ago, however having watched the way an change's things up regularly to combat the team when needed having a manager so stuck on a style and formation seems like the dark ages.
No plan B.
Doesn’t know his best 11
Are probably two of the most over-used comments on here when the team are losing.

Remember the carry on with Keane man, clubs communication to the fans was shocking
