AN Press conference - CANCELLED

There is reason to worry a bit mind. Forum always way too quick to call people raging fannies.

Also let’s take our Safc tinted glasses off for a minute and look at the facts…

Stoke have very rich owners who pay there managers a lot of money.
Stoke have no DOF and let there manager have the final say.
Rumours Neils family still live in Cheshire, which is closer than we are.
We probably aren’t paying him a massive amount currently.

Hopefully it’s all bullshit and he’s meeting potential new signings, but we seriously don’t know. A presser was organised for 9am, they’ve left the room full and decided to cancel it 45 mins later and asked people to come back at 2pm. This isn’t normal, so there’s a distinct possibility there’s truth in that Stoke are going all out for him.

Whether you like it or not, don’t burry your head in the sand and call people fannies. This is a tad concerning.

Speculative punt based on the fact a source who is very reliable regarding us has said we're close to 2 signings. Your speculative punt is based on reading between the lines. Bit of a difference

And a press conference delayed whilst the press sit and wait for a scheduled meeting and a James Hunter article on Neil’s future.

It’s hardly sitting in a deerstalker hat with a pipe.

Neil’s comment Re there being no door left to bang down, his comments on the Costa Rican’s signing, the James Hunter article, now an uncharacteristic late show on the morning of his press duties.

I suspect there’s a bit of of a power struggle.
What comments on Bennette signing?

I can't verify how genuine this is, but coming from a lad who is pally with O'nein, so better than just some bloke in the pub, but they reckon Alex Neil been offered basically double by Stoke. Not shithousing or owt just what ive been told, could equally be shite.

He's in a zoom meeting...
Coates: Fancy coming to Stoke, I'll give you a grand sign up fee matched bet on B365 ?
Neil: No, I have a project here and we've just made a progressive signing.
Coates: Oh Heck(e)! I'd better call Tony P.

Will have already happened though
If we're making a big signing, there'll be more than one conversation.
It's completely logical that he might want to be on hand to facilitate any moves.
We've no idea if that's what's happening.

A press conference cancelled as we're talking to 2 players. The article was from a while back and just revisited.
 the article was written ages ago and the journalist was merely making a point based on bookmakers speculation that Alex Neil is favourite for the job, despite no evidence or links anywhere saying Stoke even want him. Insane this place man.
