No he insisted on the rolling contract.

If you've got belief in yourself you're not going to take any old job as it could he damaging to your future prospect. He obviously had enough belief that he could organise the abortion Johnson had left into something half decent.

People seem to be missing this point that it was he who insisted on the rolling contract, from what he has said in the past it then gives him the option to leave rather than being at the peril of the clubs he manages.

Leaving for Stoke would be very odd though as their constraints are similar to ours despite them being in the league above us for the past 4 years.

He was gone days ago when stoke pulled out of a deal for a defender from Brighton. Great friends with stoke owners and has sat with them when he goes to stoke .he's already turned stoke down once but looks like he's gone and to a club that's chased him for years
Very apt username

Bollocks man

He's.on a 12 month contract, stoke might be offering 3 or 4 years.

Hopefully it just gives the club a kick up the arse to tie him down

He then gets on with the job and becomes a legend.

Not turning up to a press conference on the eve of a televised game is nothing short of insulting to everyone at our club. The blokes lost any credibility he had with his timing of this.

If this is his tactic to get a new contract, I hope KLD has already told him to get fucked!

The board are going to be under massive pressure if he leaves for Stoke mind, and rightly so.

They lucked into Neil after a ridiculously poor process of replacing Johnson
, and there's not a chance they'll get that lucky again.
Rediculously poor after replacing Allardyce to be honest.

Get real. He's gone.

It'll all have been done in the background and now it's just going "official."

Not all clubs take 2 months to appoint a manager.

I generally like your posts, very informative on xG.

You’re being a bit of a melt here, mind. Just calm down and see what happens at 2pm. If he goes, it’s really not the end of the world.
