It's just the club sowing the seeds to say "we tried everything to keep him, but he choose to go."

He's gone.

To be fair, could be that way too. I'm just highly suspicious of him given he used us for a better deal at Preston, when they had very little money to spend and we had parachute money.

With respect to my own club, he's at a bigger club now so just don't see why it wouldn't end the same way?

Surely you can see my cynicism?

Too many pages gone since I last looked to check so sorry if already posted but James Hunter is saying he's at the AOL and Neil is still there so these people saying he's on his way to Stoke are at this moment talking shite.

How's he got us punching above our weight. We're the biggest club in the championship. Our attendances dwarf the rest of the league. Once the novelty of the money wears off he'll realise "what the fuck have I done"?
We’re not the biggest club in the championship at all. Best supported .. Yes

Money talks and we can’t compete with the likes of Watford , Burnley , WBA and Stoke by the look of things

There's not a chance Neil would be at the AoL still if he wanted the Stoke job, just my opinion anyway.

If you want to move on, then you'd travel straight away for talks. None of this zoom shite or over the phone. This shit will be done face to face, and it's not happened.
It’s the 21st century grandad. People will be having virtual interviews up and down the country every day. Nee different being a football manager.

He’s off, let’s not pretend otherwise.
