An apology from me

No big deal either way imo. If people don't want to clap it's up to them. They've paid their money to watch.
game..
Yes I would clap but it wouldn't bother me at all if bloke next to me didn't. Its his choice
I sometimes don’t celebrate a goal very much if we’re 2-0 down. More like “ok good, on with the game”

I’d just like to state, to start with, I can still post things on this message board without being the official voice of SO37.

My comments earlier were OTT and I didn’t mean to offend anyone.

When I posted my thread, we’d just pulled a goal back when we were down to 10. 99% of the away end we’re going mental.

I was stood amongst a group, who told me they didn’t want to sing. They literally didn’t clap after we scored.

We are going to suffer set backs like we did tonight, and at least having people who will clap the lads will help.

I don’t think I’m a better fan than anyone. There’s been many times where I’ve stood there in shock at how bad we’ve been. I thought tonight was the time to get behind the team.

Again, apologies. I’m not a better fan than anyone. Our remit is to improve the atmosphere. That goes for away matches too, but what I said tonight went too far.

Haway the lads.
Everyone makes mistakes but slagging off supporters who may have donated towards an initiative you organise isn’t a great look.

I thought some of the tweets from the So37 Twitter account post Coventry were a bit chewy. Not needed from a fan funded group.

Don't beat yourself up about it.

Most of us have made cocks of ourselves online. Not me though obviously 🤫 😉

I have left SO37. I made a very bad decision and it’s right that I leave. I wish them the very best of luck in the future.

Haway the lads.

Wtf?

The be clear, your comment was f*cking daft. Some people just like to stand/sit and take it all in. Others like to gan nuts, such is life.

But to leave the group where you’re doing a cracking job by all accounts, because of a daft drunken (I assume!) opinion…don’t be daft ya git wet fanny! (Meant in the nicest way!)

This. Happens when watching on TV quite often, it' maybe for me the equivalent of grabbing the ball and getting it back to the halfway line instead of racing to celebrate in the corner. But in person I have always jumped up and celebrated, though without the intensity of an equaliser or winner - it's more like 'great an error is being partly erased, more to do'.

Can we change your title to “master purger”?

A lad who is part of a group with the objective of improving our atmosphere calls out fans adding nothing to the atmosphere being asked to apologise ffs

And then we've got people thinking a comment on a forum the vast majority have never even heard of is going to undo all the great work
Did we ever find out if he “called out” the people at the match? I’m assuming he did because why else would they have proclaimed they didn’t want to sing? If he’s done that it’s a bit beyond a stupid post on a message board but I guess we’ll never know.

Thread should never have been locked mind, was very entertaining.
