Amla Retires

Great player, was struggling towards the end though. Right time to call it a day
In test cricket aye. Turned into a gun T20 player after always being consistent ODI player.

IPL ruined his test legacy. As like many red ball batsman unable to switch between the formats.

Reckon he's retired to prolong his T20 career mercenary funds. Fair enough at his age.

One of the best ive seen in his prime. Brilliant to watch aswell. Hos cover drive was tremendous

One lf only 5 players to score 25 test and.odi hundreds. The other 4 being ponting, tendulkar, sangakkara amd kohli. Decent company

Had a period a few years ago when it seemed like he couldn't be got out and was in the top few batsmen in the world. A quiet, unassuming genius.

Seen him for South Africa in 2017 Vs Sri Lanka at The Oval and he scored a century absolute class act. Also saw him for Surrey at Durham. Pleasure to have watched him
