Just posted a couple of amazon links, and they didn't show - looks like there's a module to display them that doesn't appear to work

Actually came back to say, "I bet its Ad Block Plus".

Becoming a pain now, its far too agreesive
(Usually have it turned off for RTG, but just built a new PC and haven't set the exception yet - done now)

To be fair, to ABP even though I hate it for obvious reasons, the site does rewrite the link to turn it into something resembling an advert and add our affiliate code to it. So is not actually the link as you originally posted that is being blocked - not to say that wouldn't be.

Clever with the affiliate link. I buy shite-loads off amazon, happy to use the link everytime. Is that publicised as a way to support the site?

Not publicised as such, there is no need as if people click through and end up buying RTG gets commission (at least in theory - its been well over a year now since the minimum payment threshold was reached triggering a payment!)
