Saw that. I think he was nurtured and loved at Sunderland and he’s at United with another 50 great kids. Can’t be easy but he’s a quality player

Aye we clearly thought a bit like Enzo a few season later that amad maybe the special player to push us on. He will have been great like so as you say, goes back to Utd just another great yongster.

Harsh to have a go at him for not applauding coming off. Man Utd supporters would have been saying he should have been more concerned about being taken off than clapping home fans.

He’s not there to play up to us.

he got a canny round of applause when he was subbed from where we sit.
he does look woefully skinny mind, don't recall him looking as thin as that when he was here.
 
Really poor - Reinildo had him covered all game except that one foul he got away with.
Same as Talbi really, tried all game - so I can't complain - but just got nowt from their fullback. Should have been subbed on 60.

Exactly - especially after being substituted following a disappointing performance. Do people expect him to do a lap of the pitch?
He applauded our fans at the end and said as having a crack-on with O’Nien. He was very respectful and seemed happy to be back.

Imagine Xhaka applauding Arsenal fans after a poor performance for 60 minutes. We'd be absolutely livid. It's called professionalism. There's a time to clap, it's not when you're being hooked in a poor game.
