Amad Diallo

He might prefer the left you said he has always played there he played often on the right
He's certainly played majority on left. If he prefers it as well, then my reply was to someone saying they'd like to see him in his best position, which isn't right. Fwiw I think Clarke has had a good season and doing just fine where he is.

I feel he’s brought out even more in Stewart, I genuinely enjoy watching us so far this season. Been a long long time since I’ve thought that. We are a good team, just look slightly in balanced at present
Got to say i've loved watching us this season aswel. Sounds like we could be even more attacking under Mowbray. Can't wait now

...............Patterson.................

That's a canny squad, especially if we bring another defender in.

Can see Dajaku and Matete leaving on Thursday, also can see Winchester leaving anarl, but probably in January when Ballard is fit, and Huggins also
I reckon we will change systems soon enough and go back to a back 4

Mowbray likes 4-3-3 doesn't he? We don't need a drastic overhaul in formation imo but it depends whether Mowbray wants to stamp his authority tactically and formation wise straight away.
Be interesting to see if Bennette is involved tomorrow. That poor kid wont know what the fuck has happened to him in the past week or where the bloody hell he is!!

No wingers? An almost certain loan for Diamond if rumours are to be believed.

If we're going to go with 4 at the back then I feel like we need 3 more defenders!

RB - Not sure on Gooch as a full back rather than a wing back and Hume is still very raw
CB - Ballard's injury probably means we need another centre back
LB - We only have Cirkin

If we go to a back 4 then it's a funny one. Wouldn't have ONien or Cirkin in a two so leaves Batth, Wright and Alese until Ballard is (shouldn't be out too long with metatarsal) so we either bring in someone way better who will be first choice when he's back, bring in someone good enough to be first choice till hes back, then have as competition, or stick with it and use ONien as a last resort if we get another injury.

RB is bloated with players who can play there as an interim for the odd game but every week is a concern. Realistically we need to shift one or two to sign either.

And we don't really have a back up LB (think Cirkin is more suited to that left sided CB role as well) although Alese might be able to fill in there but again takes cover away from CB.
