Actually wait there, they weren’t even in Europe this season and I think the league and European rules are different

I'd argue Man Utd paid for the potential and you could argue he hasn't fully realised that potential.

Leta hope he signs for a bargain price and fires us to Champions League glory
 
This could be a mental summer of rumours and speculation! Amad would excite everyone and would be next level t what we have. I guess it comes down to finances if you’re spending big like that including likely wages then your money won’t go far. It it quality or quantity we need to best navigate the uncharted territory of what this season is going to bring.

How come? We've paid £30m on Diarra as a newly promoted team. Why wouldn't we pay £50m on a fantastic player like Amad as a club playing in Europe?
We don't need 7 new players, 3-4 are enough with one being a new club record.

Agree, and I have a feeling our biggest outlay this season will be targeted on a right winger to come straight into the side

32 appearances 2 goals (Premier League).

He’s a really exciting, talented player but he’s off the back of a very disappointing season personally. Talk of £50m is way off imo
 
50 million is a bit much, though 40 million with add ons would be a better deal, still think he would be a great addition on the RW for us and exactly the type of player we need to progress. We were linked with Harvey Elliot too who would probably cost 30-40 million. Would prefer Amad as he grafts more in games.
