Amad £50m


I like the lad, but 50m seems steep, especially when we've seen what the recruitment team can do with signings from abroad for much less. Gisholfi has also had time to settle in at the club too.

Feels like a bit of a lazy link that will get this lads page some clicks, but then you never know with this club these days!

Not how it works though really, Amad is worth more to us than he is to them so they will push to drive the bids as high as possible if a “weaker” team comes in for him to offset their FFP as much as they can.

Don’t think he does because of his stint at Rangers, I thought Bertrand Traore was home grown due to spending over 3 years at Chelsea by 21 but was told he wasn’t because he had non-domestic loans during that time. Same would apply for Amad you’d assume.

I think I'd prefer Snr Lopez from Barthelona. Love Amad but not for that price, we've moved so far on that there's going to be more value for those figures.
 
Don’t believe we would offer £50m for the lad, if we did I think Utd would snap our hands off. For me £30m would about right and at that if it was offered I don’t think Utd would let him go. Saying that the lad would be great signing for us, he genuinely loved his time here.

I thought we had £200m available over two seasons before sales. If KLD wants it all, I'm guessing 3 to 4 £50m player's this summer would be a canny "Statement of Intent"

What we do know about this club is that signings tend to be kept under wraps till the day before the deal is done.

No way that account knows anything.

We are in uncharted territory so have no idea on what our transfer strategy will be. You could very well be right but we just don’t know. What did you believe our transfer strategy would be 12 months ago?
