Fletcher was pretty crap today, when he doesn't score he doesn't bring anything to the table. His hold up play is non-existent and he has no pace. Pretty much a waste of a shirt if he doesn't score a goal.
 

The lad makes a good point tbf, I actually think some of our better stuff comes when Altidore is playing.

He was poor today, period...People who think he was good weren't watching the same match.

I understand people like him because he got goals last year and I'm not saying he's a poor player overall...Im saying he was poor today.
He had a clear cut opportunity to score and missed....Had anyone other then fletcher missed that, everyone on here would be calling for his head.

I thought he was man of the match. I think it is kinda pointless comparing a defender and a striker but yes, Cameron was better today and I think he is better in general.

Cameron was indeed the best player on the field today...I'm quite surprised by how much he's improved. Klinsmann should play him on the right instead of f***ing Evans who offers nothing going forward. Cameron is even showing some flair on the ball. When was the last time you saw an American toying with the ball while running past markers?

When we went down to 10 he had nobody tasked with stopping him crossing the ball so of course he was going to look half decent. I reckon any professional in the world would look half decent if they had a whole half of football being under no pressure when crossing the ball.

What makes Fletcher so good? Is cause he is a good lead striker for relegated sides or because he is not American?
