Allan Lamb

Fingers crossed he recovers soon. We'd have been lost without him in the 80's and early 90's. We'd certainly have lost this:

Best of luck to him. My dad was diagnosed four years ago and died last week. It had already metasticised when they discovered it. Imagine if they said we won't bother routine screening for cervical cancer.

Really gutted to hear that mate. Thoughts with you and your family.

My dad had it throughout last year but luckily they were able to remove his prostate and he got the all clear in May. Which with covid going on it could have been so much worse had the treatment been pushed back.

So I'm just thankful he's been one of the lucky ones. Genuinely sorry yours hasn't been.

I've a couple of pals who's dad's are still fighting it. Going down a different route to my dad with treatment.

Bloody horrible time and with covid just been even worse, hope you got to spend some quality time in amongst all the crap.

Just started this evening trying to raise some money doing Movember.

Grew a massive beard over past 20 months and it's all gone now look about 10. Daft really in the scheme of things, but my way of trying to help as was nowt I could really do to help while he was ill.

Really glad to hear your dad was caught in time.

Said goodbye to the old boy at the crem today, sad but uplifting thanks to a terrific celebrant.

Not doing Movember this year but we set up a muchloved tribute page and have raised £1,600 for PCUK so far.
