If a club requests a game to be postponed the PL should release the ineligible players and well as the players eligible whether the application is granted or not.

I'd love to see who Palace said had covid when they played a full strength team 13 hours later.

At the minute the whole thing reflects badly on the PL as they appear to be allowing the inmates rule the asylum on a whim, are creating detrimental rules for young players, and are repeatedly leaving fans out of pocket because clubs don't fancy playing a couple of games in the space of a few days. It's beginning to benefit clubs who don't have vaccinated players.

There was a meeting last week where they decided they wouldn't postpone games then proceeded to postpone half of them anyway.
The corrupt PL, the ones that victimise Newcastle but allow the most corrupt takeover of an English sports team ever and bend to their every whim every time they cry.

I'm starting to (well have done for about 8 years) f***ing hate the sport at an elite level.

Champion. But I think 17 mill is a bit low and he should be on at least 300k a week. In the interests of dressing room harmony
He has another year on his deal. Barca can accept whatever fee they want but he doesn’t need to move if he doesn’t want, especially to a team facing relegation.

The good thing about these big moves is that they are long and protracted as they wait to see what else surfaces.

Aye 10 of the 11 who started the previous Palace game started the Spurs game and the 1 missing starter was still on the bench! Of the 9 subs there was 5 missing the Spurs game. Of those 5 I'd say it was Benteke and Guaita (main GK) who were missing regulars.

Remember when Middlesbrough were deducted 3 points by the premier league for no being able to fulfill a fixture because of injuries.

Total joke
That decision by the Premier League resulted in Boro getting relegated (they would have been 14th without that 3 points deduction).

Now the same Premier League are agreeing to postponements due in the main to injuries combined with suspensions!

"Total joke" is exactly what it is.

"Miracle needed" ... are you serious?

The bookies have Norwich, Watford and Burnley all shorter prices than Newcastle to be relegated. In fact they rate Newcastle as having a better than even money chance of staying up.

That will change very quickly if half way through January, Newcastle haven't signed anyone and St.Whinge and Wilson are still out. I genuinely don't think this transfer window will be the lifeline people think.

They don't need a miracle yet... but they're running out of time fast. Couple of lucky results for teams with games in hand and the pressure is on.
