I think people quickly forget that young inexperienced player will inevitably have dips in form. At the same time it will take some longer to develop than others. We've got likes of Jobe and Rigg who were both ready to play championship football at 17. But on the other hand, there's lads like Mayenda, Hume etc who came in at 18 and 20 and it's taken them a little time to show they are able to step up. The latter still has a long way to go to prove that long term.

But the point is players develop at different rates. Ba has shown glimpses in the past that he has got what it takes, but yes i think i'd agree currently he is way down the pecking order and would benefit from a loan. That's not to say he won't be a useful player for us, it just means currently he's not at the level we are looking for

Well he had to change positions under a staff that had no idea what they are doing so that’s understandable.

It really is a mad stat. Top half and no striker goals. We need to find goals from the top end quick or we will drift into solid mid-table IMO.

Batth to Norwich ** confirmed **

The squad would be better with Batth in it. He would have played yesterday and a few games more probably. Would we conceding easy headers from corners with him and Ballard as CBs?

Can't currently find the thread I mean but we were up there defensively for a while even though it was clear we weren't that organised.

This season there's been a bit of panic when the ball has gone aerially into the box and scrambled clearances. Doesn't take a genius to see with Onien and Alese we're not particularly strong in the air, but they've barely been tested yet.

He is training with the club, he's not on strike or owt, just doing it separately from his team-mates as neither he or the club want him getting injured. So shouldn't be like signing a free agent like Poveda.
