Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)


As soon as Mendy said he wanted Sunderland the deal was off. Everyone knows we don’t like to sign players that actually want to play for us. Look at M’Vila, pleaded to be bought but the club give him the cold shoulder. We only like wasting money on shite or people that are only here for a pay day. History tells us this.

it was tongue in cheek but fact remains that I can’t recall any other player being so vocal about joining SAFC as these two (Mendy and Mvila) and no sign of either.

So we never signed Darren Bent who pleaded with Spurs for them to let him join us?

You only get the player if you agree a deal with the club.

Kenwyne Jones went on strike.

Coming put and saying you're going somewhere before it's done isn't exactly something many do either, because you've seen it doesn't always happen and you might have to play on at said club.

Mebbe he should have a Peter Odemwingie ride over.
