Because some dimwit used our entire budget on him, against the Manager’s wishes 6 years ago, it’s still used as an example.
As I said, why not use Marco Gabbiadini as an example? We were plotless, desperate for a goal scorer, had to sell Proctor and Smith had to chip in, I believe and he turned-out alright.

This smacks of both sides trying to push their stance through the media. His team trying to get the move through, Caen holding out for more cash.

Report this morning that he’s insisting on leaving, and that his agent dropped a “bombshell” on them with his statement.

Couple of hours later, a photo emerges of him training with them.
