Mate, we all know that, but this is the situation we're in right now, so like I was saying, as long as we get the lad in we can struggle through the next few, pick up some points hopefully and fingers crossed Mendy would come in and be a success
 
Will only go up to that 4.5m figure on goals scored/promotion etc, at which point if that were to happen would pay for itself. Be pretty content if we can get him and a decent loan in, for up front anyway

Speakman might be right on the striker market . Celtic paying up to 9.5 million for idah who wasn't getting a game for Norwich last season is mental money .
He has a lot of potential and done well on loan last season but he's 23 and that was the first time in his career he's scored / played consistently .

That’s why so many clubs are shopping outside of England, buying a striker from an English club you pay a massive premium.

Doesn’t change the fact that this deal should have been long done by now though.
