He was mind. He was the one that despite being given the most opportunities, offered the least. Had nothing about him. Hemir at least actually looked like he had a decent strike on him.

One of my highlights of last season was Burstow’s clinical headed finish (can’t remember who it was against but it might have been his only attempt in the entire season) which was blatantly going wide from a couple of yards out before hitting a defender and going in.

He was favoured by Mowbray due to being English. He gave 45 minutes to Hemir before basically giving up on him. He then persisted with Burstow despite being absolutely shit.
Had to be this mate, his performances didn't reflect on why he achieved more minutes than all of our so called strikers. Mind Doddsy didn't even bother picking them, went for Jobe up front.

Hemir was nowhere near being fit enough, Mayenda was injured in his first training session, Rusyn was late arriving at the club, and also was carrying an injury. This rubbish that he favoured Burstow because he was English simply isn't true.

Id have Hemir up top ahead of Burstow every single time. Burstow is an absolute embarrassment.
Burstow played nearly double the minutes Hemir did and started far more times than Hemir did.

The Hemir not being fit enough excuse doesn’t really wash when his alternative was chucking that fat blob Dack up top who couldn’t walk.
It’s fairly obvious Mowbray did as he often waffled about not being able to communicate with players while sucking on revels in his incoherent press conferences.

Plenty of young strikers have iffy first seasons. He could yet be a good signing but it’s a brave man that would bet on that and bring him back!

Dack scored against Southampton, look at each coach in turn last season, Mowbray gave the lad game time, but everyone could see he wasn't fit enough, strong enough and looked miles away from what we needed. Doddsy played without a striker in the games before Beale was appointed. Beale selected Dack when he came back from injury and completely ignored Hemir. Dodds when he got the gig for the third time dropped all the so called strikers and played Jobe up front. Pre season under RLB Mayenda with the most game time, Rusyn second and Hemir a distant 3rd, he couldn't even get a game against Bradford, so that tells me what the new coach has seen in training and who will bring the most to the team.So to say Mowbray picked Burstow because he spoke English, when 2 of the players were injured and the third has struggled to impress 4 coaches now, is simply untrue.
