Mundle is a chicken with nee heed, Rusyn is more of a striker I don’t think he’s a winger type and Watson isn’t ready yet, can’t comment on Poveda as not seen enough of him but his fitness is a worry.

I'm not saying they're correct, just saying I think they will go with what we have.

It's been relatively quiet around Clarke. He doens't seem to be pushing for a move either, so hopefully it just peters out like last season.

There’s been loads of interest in Clarke but nothing has gone very far (yet) and we will not bend over on our valuation so we either get what we want for him, not what other teams want to pay, or he stays.

One thing I will give this “model” high praise for is their strong negotiations when it comes to players leaving.

If the club was seriously up for promotion push they would sign both and keep Clarke.

Serious discussion to be had if we do sell him for a large fee without replacement on deadline day mind

Yeah, they've been good about sticking to valuations. Even just from what's been reported we've had bids for Clarke, Patterson, Hume, Ekwah, Roberts, Jobe and Ballard but they're all still here.

It will get harder with Clarke next season, as the contract ticks down, but they've done great on this front so far.

15 goals and 4 assists in the championship last season, nobody got close to that in our squad. He is our Golden Goose.

I know I shouldn’t bite but I’m genuinely fascinated by Reiv/ Riv which a few posters seem to chuck about.

I’m assuming he was a poster who copped a ban in 2017, just prior to me joining so some people think we are the same person.

Also, some peope say @1more is Riv?!?

@rubberface always calls me Riv too (but he also said that it was definitely Maric, Speakman was definitely off etc.

I think mundle could turn out to be decent for us. I think many of our supporters need to check themselves into realising how raw most of our squad is across the board. The club does need to show us that they are genuinely interested in progress and not complicit in mediocrity consolidation. I.e. centre forwards.

25m maybe acceptable but if we’re willing to accept that and are expecting that kind of offer we should already have a replacement lined up.

Do you have confidence we do? And if so replace the goals/assists necessary to stop us going down?

I agree we have a lot of raw talent, most of our squad is raw talent but with Mundle I just see the raw and not the talent I’m afraid, really do think he’s the worst of the lot.

I do rate a lot of our young players and see a lot of potential in them though, even Ba, but you’re not allowed to say that on here 🙈
