Where did I say Beale wasn’t a disaster? He’s not good enough to be the main man due to his demeanour etc. but as an assistant he was received well. And is supposed to be a good coach / trainer. We have spent many seasons getting old ,established players .Remind us how many times that got us relegated and into financial trouble .Maybe you should find another team to support with established players.The finances available are slowly coming together for building the future of the club.

That, Speakman, is what planning is all about, you know what's going to happen and you have the solution ready for when it does .. no rushing out to try and fix the problem reliant on the whim of others (McDonald's refusing to serve you breakfast after a certain time for example, or a mouse in the KFC batter).

He’s still never played at this level and would still be a risk.

Mendy has never replicated scoring form anywhere outside of Ligue 2 though.

His record at the top level in France in the league is less than Josh Maja's record.

Similarly to Maja when dropping into Ligue 2 they then started scoring around a goal every other game in the league. Yet in the championship Maja's record then becomes probably poorer than his own in Ligue 1.

Obviously different players, likely different strengths and its a gamble you take, but on the face of it Ligue 2 probably doesn't look very strong.

You make it sound like they put a bit in, had it accepted, negotiated terms with the player, booked a medical in for him,and then signed a contract, all in the space of 24 hours.

If the argue is about KFC, Burger King or McDonald’s I’m not interested.

I’ve not used KFC since there was a deep fried bug in mine. Looked like a roach but could have been a moth. Obviously binned it all and asked for a refund. They refused saying they couldn’t prove it didn’t happen after it left the restaurant. It was f***ing fried and covered in batter. Unless the delivery driver had a fryer in his car I can safely say it was in the restaurant.
