I don’t think people are doubting we were in for him or it was very close. The issue is that people were saying it was done when it wasn’t. I don’t doubt people had knowledge of that, the odds are that people on here get club info. The issue is how people communicated that knowledge. It basically came down to people’s definitions of “done”

Everyone reporting its about the fee. Get it done!!!

We pissed about the whole of January with Moore and were beaten to his signature by a club that had just come up from division 1

That’s one of the big issues with this forum. Posters making dead cert, nailed on claims only damage their own credibility. Im not sure I get this mindset. If you hear a rumour post it as a rumour. You can always caveat it by stating the source, context etc.

Aye so the fact he's publicly chose us gives us stronger bartering power in getting a better deal. We don't need to go and spunk away money and pay what they want just to get him in the door quicker, still 3 weeks or so for the season to start...
