The striker situation is doing my head in, it’s pathetic the club haven’t sorted it but this sort of crack is just as irritating. Someone said similar on the Ugbo thread ffs.

Mind I think it's bad we haven't got one in yet. We definitely need one in this week. But we're seemingly in talks with two strikers. One obvious situation holding one transfer up.

Feel like fans think we should put bids in for 5 strikers in case one doesn't work out. Not how it works at all

Do other clubs constantly have these massive delays in transfers - I swear we have this problem every single year. I appreciate all teams will have sagas, and I don't follow those clubs so closely, but ours seem so frequent.

Signed a new contract the season before last so he didn't leave on a free but with the understanding that he could leave this summer.

Well why do we make all of our transfers so open then? Rusyn, Hemir etc. last year was the same. Jewi the summer before, Patrick Roberts the winter before etc. etc.

If they were going to take £1m for him and we would pay him £20k per week, for arguments sake... he hands in a request, loses his bonus, is sold for £3m... then he's not going to get £20k per week. He doesn't want to join us that much!
