They lost an absolutely outstanding player and it took a little time for the new lads to bed in, but they did. They've just signed that Jack Rudoni from Huddersfield and 2 or 3 others this window already. As it stands they have a great chance of the play offs, we don't.

Plenty are behaving like goons on both sides. I’ve said throughout the club have gotten it wrong both in the striker carry on and the management situation this summer.
I just don’t see the need for people to be constantly moaning about it. The entire discussion is absolutely tedious, with both sides too stupid to see how daft they are.
One thing I know for certain anyone using phrases like happy clapper or bed wetter are, goons.

Completely agree with this. It’s gone on for far too long. There has to be a point when you have to push the boat out and take a calculated risk. I’m confident Mendy will sign but he should have been here weeks ago.
If Mendy comes just say next week we wouldn’t see him for at least 4 weeks. He has had no preseason training at all

Coventrys form at the back end of the season was rancid, 4 points from 8 games. That isn’t bedding in. They’re in a better position that us, for sure, but again that’s not the point the person I responded to was making…it was that they’d planned well for selling their best players which I don’t think can be true if you finish in a worse position than the season before.

We have the worst strike force in the league bar none the hierarchy are refusing to sort it out and the happy clappers refuse to be worried and criticise anyone who dares to question it

And that is the point theyare making the odds of us succeeding smaller and smaller by taking so long to address blindly obvious problems, we have to start well or everyone is under pressure straight away but it looks like we are happy to write off the games up to September 1st and even then I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s only a highly rated premier league young loanee striker

Nobody is content surely? I’m concerned but not to the point where I’m losing my shit over it. Call me blinkered but I can’t imagine the club are sitting there thinking you know what let’s just leave it a while longer just to piss the supporters off. Our recent forward acquisitions have been sub standard or too young to really expect an impact from. I would imagine they want to get it right this time and that may mean this drags on a bit.
