Communication towards the fans is shameful, lot of people being paid and not doing their jobs properly. They should, but they won’t mate, they’ll just hide behind ‘it was a process’, maybe not even that I wouldn’t be surprised if they just shyed away from mentioning it again.
f***ing pathetic like, whole thing has been a clusterfuck.
Maybes but nowt to say he can't train /work with the lads in an independent capacity. I just can't see any other reason for the delay in the announcement. You don’t start working without signing a contract first. Contract signed = club can announce.
Scratching my head tooMaybes but nowt to say he can't train /work with the lads in an independent capacity. I just can't see any other reason for the delay in the announcement.
Yes. And a fickle terrorist.I'm not disagreeing with any of that my point is football fans are so fickle if we win the next few games no one will care what happened before.
No not at all are you ?
About bloody timeExudes no-nonsense. The players will be having culture shock.
Will take a lot more than 3 points for many. A bit of honesty from the board has more of a chance of getting people back on terms
MmmmhmmmmYes. And a fickle terrorist.
This time may be a bit different imo. They’ve made a catastrophic mess in the last few weeks. Promotion is gone aside from the playoffs. The new manager search has shown the club to be completely incompetent. Winning a few games should not change that. It’ll make little difference to our season anyway. We could win all 15 and it may still only see us in the playoffs.I'm not disagreeing with any of that my point is football fans are so fickle if we win the next few games no one will care what happened before.

So would it end in February? Seems an odd time.Just reading up on rolling contracts, sounds like it means it's a 12 month deal which automatically renews for another 12 months at the end of the initial 12 month period without need for renegotiation. So basically, if he doesn't get us promoted this season and the club decide to get rid, he'd only be due about 6 months pay off. Apologies if this has been covered, I initially thought it meant he always had 12 months left but that doesn't seem to be the case. Have a feeling they're keeping their options open in case he doesn't get us up. Sounds a bit harsh because I doubt it'll be his fault if we lose a play off, but I suppose if both parties are happy to agree to it, it might not be a bad thing for us. If Keane was offered the same it would be an obvious reason why it could fall through mind
Not sure why, but this appointment excites me a lot. He’s a winner, not like that POMO nobThe news we have all been waiting for!!!!

He sounds more pragmatic that the last pack of dour souls we’ve had.Not sure why, but this appointment excites me a lot. He’s a winner, not like that POMO nob
If they get rid at the end of the season because we haven’t gone to, at least Neil bags himself a 6 month payoffSounds a bit harsh because I doubt it'll be his fault if we lose a play off, but I suppose if both parties are happy to agree to it, it might not be a bad thing for us.
Actually think it’ll be more clinical than that. Often a ‘rolling’ contract set up would have a fixed term - a 12 month rolling often being a 1 or 3 month fixed period- and beyond this period enable either party to serve notice.Just reading up on rolling contracts, sounds like it means it's a 12 month deal which automatically renews for another 12 months at the end of the initial 12 month period without need for renegotiation.
