The same fans in that footage no doubt ended up calling for him to be sacked eventually. He’ll be backed by our support as every manager is, but that doesn’t mean people can’t have reservations.

In fact there were quite a few. I’ve been an advocate of getting Neil for a while, so when others mentioned his name I took notice, hence why I know there’s been quite a few. Just because you’re not keen doesn’t mean others aren’t.

I think it’ll be a decent appointment.

Norwich fans like him and think he’ll do a decent job here.

He’s had a year away from football so hopefully got the fire back in his belly. I’ll be right behind him.

Fair enough but take Keane out of all of this, then who the hell did people think we could get.

Think he will do a decent job myself, if he gets a decent crack of it.

Instead of playing this game, give us an indication of who, at 40 years old, has a more appealing record, in your opinion.

When you say young, up and coming do you mean someone who has only managed a couple of seasons? Someone who has brought up a team from league 2 to league 1? Someone in the French 2nd division?
