I feel like asking the mods to create a special thread where those who bang out the ‘Shows how far we have fallen’ line and its many variants can go play in their Stating The Bleedin’ Obvious sandpit.

No they wouldn’t. He’s a lower league no mark whose heyday has been and gone. Perfect for the current shambles who own our club whether you want to admit it or not.

i would.... it would mean we are out of this tin pot league! Something that we've failed to do in 3 attempts and are now looking unlikely to do it at 4th attempt

he might even be able to kick on and get us up to the prem with a bit of ambition that he never had from the board at Preston

He's the best man for the job looking at the shortlist

I’ve not got the contacts to know if he’s a complete buffoon but it’s SAFC and there’s been plenty of them ower there in my 54 years os shite watching so I wadnt be surprised.

He just a wants an argument. He defended McCann yet wouldn’t be happy with 16th in the championship
 
What Id absolutely love to know is how this apparent modern, data based, scientifically minded, progressive, connected, thorough, diligent, buzzword salad cohort of footballing whizz kids have landed at what is now seemingly a binary choice of currently unemployed former championship managers, Alex Neil or Grant McCann.

Has the data machine not been serviced? We had interest from around the world according to the young owner. It seems very strange that our options, having sacked the previous manager (who was also an unemployed former championship manager) for cumulative reasons just so happen to be the two most obvious candidates in the field.

I’m starting to think that this data Revolution long term project is, in fact, a load of absolute jargonistic f***ing tosh.

Wouldn't mind him but if he had 4 years here and we left with him 16 th people would feel let down

Waiting for the right opportunity, your probably one of the bed wetter who wanted Johnson out. Owners have no idea and made a pig ears out of this.. been since early 80s after season no more. I won't be getting on the new mystery machine as they ain't got a scooby
