Most of our fans know fuck-all and need to sit back. I'll trust the management on this one rather than the soppy, nostalgia-addled middle-aged baldies on this one. They'll have done their due process and if they believe that Neil is the man for the jerb, then I'll be behind him.

But they didn’t want Neil - they wanted the person the so called ‘soppy nostalgia-addled middle-aged baldies’ wanted

Be an absolute shocking appointment
Not saying he’s going to be great but could you say why ( it seems those more knowledgeable than me that have witnessed his teams and posted from the likes of Preston are positive)?

to appease the fans.

If you honestly think they thought about Keane before sacking Johnson, you're living in cloud cuckoo land, bearing in mind Speakman has admitted they did absolutely fuck all on it until the window closed.

We don't know if this is the case. I believe the only evidence in favour of such an interpretation of the situation is the impression created by media reporting that Keane was the number one candidate. We don't know if that was the case or if they were simply interviewing their primary candidates. We don't know what's been going on with Neil and the others, in the meantime.

Shirley they need him in now before a massive game at the weekend

Like a few others who believed they were acting on sound information I am very sorry that Roy Keane has turned us down. My posts which to be fair always stated it was down to RK to accept where posted in absolute good faith based upon the same information received when I advised LJ was going to be sacked.

I have supported this club for over 50 years and whilst we have all had desperate times this is without doubt the worst I have ever felt. The last 10 days have shown how the club runs its day to day business. Sacking LJ which I ultimately agreed with is one thing, but to see how it has been managed since has made us a laughing stock.

Good luck to Alex Neill if he takes over, best of the others!

I am done I really am.

Sorry again
