Wait till Keane takes a role somewhere and it will feel like you’ve giving the winning ticket as a Secret Santa present.
I don't know why you'd think Keane would be a success anywhere after a poor managerial career and 10 years absence from club football.
He had more of a chance with us purely because of sentiment. From a footballing aspect he wasn't the best choice.

They're all uninspiring, tepid yes men. Absolute bullshit from the club.

Think you'll find the Preston fans will disagree about the attacking quick football
He has the players to do that at Sunderland. At PNE not so much.

They were – quite rightly – very careful with their money at Deepdale. It wasn’t a level playing field as it was like the California gold rush at that time in the Championship. I think he managed with his hands tied behind his back there. I think the Norwich side he had has more similarities to SAFC. I’d like to think he can get a tune of our lot.

Was tongue in cheek marra. I fully expect Keane to continue his lucrative and stress free media work.

Took Preston from 7th under Simon f***ing Grayson to 16th.

Another superb manager. Takes a special talent to make Grayson look good.
That just simply isn’t true. They finished 7th on 73 points in Neil’s first season. They finished 11th on 62 points in Grayson’s final season.

I think he's a decent appointment but I don't envy anyone taking over while not being Roy Keane right now.

I think he will be widely accepted with a sigh of relief that it isnt Mccann so should be reet.

For what its worth I think hes an astute manager, seems a hard bloke too which is what we need. Think he will be a safe pair of hands and quickly stop us looking like a mess like we do currently.

Emotion aside he’s a good appointment to be honest.
Did he not get sacked from Preston for taking them from near play offs to near bottom on his last job?

Of it is him I’ll support him and hope he does v well..he will need big bollocks now
