Alex Manninger RIP

I know the area pretty well (my company is based in Salzburg, just down the road from where incident happened). Roads criss-cross the train tracks everywhere there. No barriers, just a small set of red lights. It always causes me to take a deep breath when driving over the train tracks, even knowing that they are there.

A horrific and very sad incident in such a beautiful, quiet place.

Terribly sad news, RIP Alex

My time perception is getting worse. I wouldn't have flinched if I was told he was still playing. No way I'd have guessed he was 48.

RIP - A tragic loss.
