Aleksic returns

I thought that but actually it’s not that bad, will probably have Elborg, O’Nien, Rigg, Angulo and one of either Traore or Diarra as well as one of Mayenda or Isidor.
That to me is shocking personally.

Rigg isn’t ready physically and Angulo will likely be starting anyways.

The only players on that bench that can possibly make an impact are Traore, Mayenda/Isidor & Diarra - or any of the current starting 11 that those three come in for.

There’ll be at least 4 academy players on that bench you’d think, and Aleksic there too.

Actually think he's very talented, good final ball as well. There's a gem in there somewhere.
I think there is definitely potential but his loan hasn’t Indicated that he’s even close to premier league standard. Not judging on that though, loads of factors could have made that difficult and as we’ve seen Mayenda was surely good enough for Scottish football but didn’t get a kick.

It’s not brilliant but I wouldn’t say shocking, not so long ago having three potentially first team quality players on the bench was a blessing.
Why is there such confidence re Diarra being benched???
I think he’ll start right.

I think O’Nien is okay as a defensive sub, Rigg similar for midfield whilst Traore, Angulo, Isidor are pretty good options. It’s not great but not awful. What I think it does show is that our strongest areas- defence and midfield still lack depth.

It shows our weakness up front too?
