Aleksic returns


Being positive about the lad.

He was good enough that a Division 2 side in England paid £3.1m for him a day after he turned 19.

He has been capped at Serbian u-21 level and called up to the senior team without being capped.

Scored for us in the FA Cup last season, and could have had a couple more earlier in the season after coming on as sub in league games.

Looks to have a bit about him and pacy.

Unfortunately he wasn't being given many chances by Le Bris, and when he got a couple or three starts late on in the season we saw why, very poor, although he was played out of position.

Who knows where he goes from here.
 
I think he is a baller, maybe he benefits from being round the squad and the likes of Xhaka.

He screams of the type of lad who could come off our bench and just instantly start looking like a Prem player.

History does seem to suggest that Serbs and Albanian/Kosovans get on well mind :lol:

But yes.
 
I always liked him and thought he had the ability but lacked composure. Don’t think he was used properly last season and the time has probably passed for him now.
 
Was he in the Polish league?
