Loan deal agreed

The only thing that’s pending now is whether a purchase clause will be part of the temporary deal

I'm surprised they've not just agreed to cancel his contract by mutual consent though. He won't be on much.
It would make more sense to loan him out if the club were to receive more money/wages covered. Why would he consent to having he contract terminated unless the club was paying up the full remaing term of the contract?
Hjelde btw works homegrown players imo keep for Europa league adventure, you get name 12 subs so may aswell
Pointless if he doesn't ever play wgich he probably wouldn't. Better off loaning him out and reducing the wage bill.

Free agents can get a nice little signing on fee.

I think Aleksic is maybe a player who will suffer because of our promotion. He has ability and would probably have been giving the occasional chance if we were stuck in the championship. But now we're in the premier league he's never going to reach a level where he can play for our first team. So it's just about maximising what money we get back now, whether that be in loan fees or sale
