Alderete so consistent

Alderete and Mukiele should have been our CB pairing all season and if they are both here next season, I fully expect them to be with a Proper RB and Reinildo at LB. There isnt many back fours as good in the Prem IMO

Pure class .Mr consistent

WIthout bias I'd put him in the top 5 current premier league centre halfs this season . For instance Liverpool have konate and alderate is way better

How the hell he has ended up playing for us I'll never know .

An absolute shame he doesn't get the plaudits he richly deserves from the wider media.

The best transfer business this summer will be keeping him..
Yet the amount on here that rate him less than Ballard and diss him for the odd loose pass beggars belief. Along with, Roefs, Nordi and Xhaka he should be first name on the team sheet

Ballard is good on set pieces but he’s 3rd choice centre half for me problem is out fans like players that kick fuck out of people instead of making things look easy

I think that’s really harsh on Ballard. He’s a much better footballer than that. Comfortable bringing the ball out and his passing is often excellent. He’s more than a head it/kick it lump of a centre half.

Loved it at Wolves last week when he was over towards the touchline facing his own goal with that long haired loser of a lump right on his arse

I’m thinking just get a throw in if you can and he glanced his head inside towards the centre of the pitch, then glanced that way again, then spun the other direction - completely sent the long haired lad to Wolverhampton Sainsburys

I pointed it out to my son and then on Sunday in his under 12s game he did the exact same move - I was buzzing. Standing on the side of the pitch shouting ALDERETE!!! with all the other mams and dads thinking who’s this clown?!

Not saying he’s a bad player just behind the other two who compliment eachother better. Ballard gets caught on the ball a lot running it out of defence and either getting tackled or giving it away I just think mukilele is top class at centre half he loses his discipline playing fullback and tries to do too much

I’d agree with that but don’t forget the threat that Ballard creates at the opposite end of the field

Him and Mukiele should be the automatic centre half pairing choice ahead of the hair puller. Ballard is good back up to help us see out a game if needed though.
