Just looking at his stats so far at 28 has 7607 test match runs if he were to play into his late 30's could he trouble temdulkard record?

It'll be nice to see an Englishman in 5 figures in terms of runs scored, I know that much.

Aye. Over 1000 short of 10,000 too.

It's about time we rose up these lists, Anderson will get over 400 wickets which is great as we've never had a player who's done that.

Surprising really considering how much test cricket we've played over the years.
 
Boycott would have got to 10000 if not for his self imposed exile during the 70s. And probably Gooch without his rebel tour bans.
