Cheers mate👍 could still kick myself now for getting to that stage. 2 yrs during covid and losing my job suddenly after 23yrs being there since i was 17. Our place shut down suddenly without warning. Shutters down when we walked in one day. Took it bad, then covid hit, drank minituares at home all day long for 18 months and fucked my liver. Hid it all from wife, she didn't have a clue...anyway i derail the thread. Apologies. 4yr and 4months without a drink now. Hope Alan Brazil realises what a chance he has now👍...(sorry everyone for derailing thread)🫣 :lol:

Im not defending him but he did suffer a lot in his youth due to the Celtic boys club stuff. Sadly it’s not uncommon for people (blokes in particular) to turn to booze/drugs to deal with it.

Hopefully, as part of his treatment he is getting proper counselling and he will be able to deal with the abuse he suffered.

Without derailing the thread, what happened with the Celtic boys club was abhorrent and a lot of other blokes will still be suffering in silence
