They were talking about the man utd project which mentioned the women's team. I've got no issue with her mentioning that aspect of it, especially if she has some skin in the game and is a follower.

I'm not a fan of the women's game and have no opinion on her but his reaction has caused a pile on of her getting slagged and abused on social media from what I've seen and even some on here. From absolutely nothing.

He was referring to mission 21 being the priority and that is true. It also has nothing to do with the women.

Mates son is part of an under 10s league. Two lasses teams are in. Played them at the weekend. Finished 29 nowt.

Not sure what the point is mind as we all know lads are much better.

I haven't watched a woman's match the whole way through and can name only a few players so avoiding it is possible.

It’s another sport with limited appeal and crowds but is massive in the Olympics.

It's not proving a point at all. Only in your mind it is . Do as many people go to watch triple jumping every week as go to watch women's football. Nope. Nowhere near. Incomparable

And she was referring to the side project that included the women. Its not a big deal and not worthy of going off on one.

I couldn't care less about the triple jump nonsense, its just him being an arse.
