Well reasoned and sensible post.I don’t listen to Talksport, so I don’t know his stance on womens football. I’m merely talking about the instance in hand, which he’s totally correct about.
I’m similar. I think it’s great that women are encouraged to play football, my niece plays and she loves it, I sometimes go and watch her play, because it’s my niece. It’s brilliant to see anyone doing and competing in sport, any sport. I’ve nothing whatsoever against women playing football, I’m not misogynistic, I’m not sexist. However, I’ve got no interest in womens football at all, I can’t really help that, it’s just something I don’t find interesting. That doesn’t make me sexist, it doesn’t mean I’m a dinosaur or that I’m living in the 80’s, it’s just a fact. That’s all Alan Brazil is saying - the Manchester United fanbase, on the whole, aren’t interested.
