Ahmed Abdullahi

Based on what? He could barely get on the pitch for us in the Championship and when he did he looked miles off that level.
That's true.

There's something there with Aleksic though.

Serbia u-21 intl. and was called up for the full squad without getting a cap.
He's pacy, a bit skill, get's into some good forward positions.
Scored against Stoke in the cup last season and could have had a couple more from the few sub apps he made.

But then, like you say, when he got a couple or three starts he looked totally lost, but you could put that down to being played out of position and the circumstances of why he got those starts (he wasn't playing among our best players)

A good loan deal to a 2nd or 3rd division team this season and being a regular starter in his best position could bring him on a bundle, he's still just (nearly) 20.

You can see what he was like in this video. LUIS SEMEDO ✭ BENFICA ✭ THE MACHINE ✭ Skills & Goals ✭ 2022

But that’s the problem he needs minutes on the pitch. Le Bris didn’t really trust him in our disciplined system which is also fair enough.

A loan to either league one or championship will do him world of good, he’s clearly got summit about him.

Based on what I've seen of the lad. I think he could/should have played more last season. He no way looked miles off, if you think that then I suggest you study football a bit more
Always the go-to comeback for people that don't know what they're talking about that, "You clearly don't know football if you don't agree with me." I suppose we'll see for ourselves whether or not he's Championship level by the end of the window when we see which clubs push for him to join them on loan. I suspect he'll end up in League 1 or a similar level alongside Abdullahi, but we'll see.

Not convinced by this

Not much experience at all, almost none
He played nearly 40 games in the Belgium Third Division. It may be questionable standard but it 'mens' football. He also scored 20 odd goals in those games. Trey, by comparison, has played about 20 minutes of first team football in the FA Cup.

Agree with that. Aleksic certainly has the ability to do it in L1 and then kick on.

He's barely played man at any level. They have to start somewhere, there is no chance Trey will get a loan above that level currently and Abdullahi may struggle too - you want the clubs to be the right fit and the opportunities they get as well. Too many are obsessed with the level they start at and it's less important.
Id send them both to Scotland or else Netherlands. Wrong loans send players backwards . Look at parrott had a few very iffy loans went to Holland has 9 goals between Europe and the league already this season . His finish the weekend top corner he's finally doing what he was doing at youth level . Dominating and taking the piss at times . Not sure id be sending them to get lump kicked out of them at league one

Agreed, as I said on the Trey thread, Bainbridge's loans to Aberdeen was a step too far for him and has seemed to have been badly set back by it.

I'm not sure it is mind, he was playing for Jong Gent. 2 sub appearances for blokes Gent

From what I have seen from the lads , Aleksic, Abdullahi, Trey all look capable of stepping up into men’s football for sure and I think league 1 isn’t a bad fit for all of them.

People seem to not get the set up in foreign leagues. Its the Belgium third division and they play against established senior sides. Its not reserve or U23 football.
Fair enough, you got me there. Jong Gent is a reserve/kids team but I wasn't aware that they do play older lads, so you can have that one.
