Everyone going on about his wages, and rightfully so, but at some point this fantasy football needs to stop. Its crazy that players can be on £400k a week, and clubs cant give them away because no one will pay it and players dont have to take less because they can sit out their time, take the money and retire knowing their families will be wealthy for years.

Contracts are worth fuck all now, and until the middle order of Premier league teams and below stop paying these extraordinary amounts and offering long term deals, nothing will change.
