Anyone know whether you have direct access to the ground if you are staying at the Hampshire Ageas Hilton during a match? I’m taking Mrs KB2 (no!) to one of The Hundred matches there and we’re staying in a room with a pitch view balcony. We’ll be able to watch the match, but she wants to know whether she can also get into the ground from the hotel and wander around. I’m in danger of having to buy tickets to the game just so that she can do a quick walk around…….
 

Imagine if your booking was part of a package you'll have a ticket. If you just happen to be overlooking the pitch from your room maybe not.

😀 To be fair, I’m still hopeful. Me and the Mrs have a small wager on this. She emailed Hampshire CCC and I told her she was daft as the lads and lasses at RTG will definitely know, whoever hears back faster wins. Don’t let me down…….

I know Lancs offer a ticket as part of your booking on a match day, but not sure about Hampshire. Both Hilton though.

While she’s on, get her to cancel the booking and give your money to one of the other 17 counties instead.
 
Few years back stopped in the Hilton at Old Trafford night before the Lancs v. Durham 50 over game. No pitch view from the room nor ticket included. Got thrashed as well. Probably of little use to you but there we go.
 
Sorry mate. Despite living 5 miles away I refuse to go to the Rose Bowl or any event at the hotel. We used to have lots of work events there and people watched the game from their rooms, but it was cricket, not this pyjama franchise.
I’ll ask around at work for you tomorrow, as there are a few members of the backstabbers who may know the answer.
If you do go and you see a fat bloke in a Sunderland shirt cycling slowly passed the ground shouting ‘scabs’, give me a wave.
