I've played cricket for quite a while but strangely I've never really watched it, other than the Ashes.

A mate of mine used to have a season ticket at durham and wants to go.

We're thinking if going on Sunday when Durham play Derbyshire. What's the best places to sit, what should we do with regards to food etc?

I wouldn't say any part of the ground is any better than any other, it just depends what view of the pitch you want. You're not allowed to take any beer in to T20 games and pints are £3.50, but food is allowed.

Try and get a seat behind the bowlers arm, not sure if those seats will be for members only.

They're not, but they're highly sought after so get there very early if you want to go there. I personally like sitting at the top of the County Durham stand because you get a great view of the whole ground.

you pay for entry to the ground and (most) seats are unreserved.
games are rarely much more than 50% full so

get in, find out where the wicket is and pick a seat that suits your required view of the action and proximity to key facilities (netties and bar)

I THINK its £15 in advance or £20 on the day
