Adingra

Adingra from some fans POV is such a bizarre one to me. There’s some seem to relish in him possibly not doing great. Why? We haven’t heard a single report of him being unprofessional or even remotely a negative influence. He literally as far as we’ve seen has just put his head down to get back into the Ivory Coast team and moved countries at short notice to help him do it

Hope his loan goes well. Great debut and hopefully see more of that for him
That's it like it, granted he hasn't really taken off with us....but if he goes away and plays well it only benefits us and the player himself

A Speakman signing. The clue is in how many wingers we still tried to sign after we got him whilst still having Mundle. I doubt Le Bris was ever convinced about Adingra and after a conversation with Ghisolfi they probably both agreed. Bye Bye Adingra, bye bye Speakman. We will sign better players this summer, I have no doubt.

So from now on all our crap signings are Speakers work, all our good ones have Ghisolfi's finger prints on them 😂

Sorry but recruitment is difficult. Nobody is going to have a 100% success rate. I wonder who signed off the Masuaku deal?

Who cares. We've done very well overall.

I think it’s more that adingra was a target in the championship. We’d been talking to Brighton about him before ghisolfi joined.

He’s an ok player, but he doesn’t fit the tactical demands of RLB, who wants wingers who understand defending enough to be able to adapt tactical shapes off the ball.

He tries, it’s not a workrate thing, but the lad simply isn’t good off the ball. He’s more dangerous than most of our wingers tbh. But that’s not what RLB wants.

Can't afford to have him as a luxury player. Everyone in the team has to work going forward and back. Don't think Adingra wanted to be going back to do the dirty work. Not saying he wouldn't in a game but it's not what he is wired to do.

Speakman obviously 🤣

Is he someone (if this continues) you try and persist with or do you just accept he’s not built for the prem and perfect for a slower french league?

I don’t think the problem is being able to play in the prem. The problem is his biggest assets are stifled in our system and his biggest weaknesses are what we look for in wingers

3 goals in 7 apperences for Monaco
Two in first game against the worst side in the league skew that stat a bit though. I think he’s talented and hope he does well but Talbi is definitely ahead of him and on limited viewing so far Angulo would be too. That’s without entertaining the possibility of Mundle or the fact Le Fee is also an excellent left side option.

Thought Talbi was very good against the mags all game...and without him or Rigg we would have been stuck without an outlet first half (before dominating midfield 2nd half obvs) 😉

Good run of games and this lad is gonna be the real deal.

Been obvious for a while that he's nowhere near the finished article but has enough quality to start every match and forgive the anonymous matches that players of his age are gonna have against some very good footballers. He's gonna be a good player. Good buy.

The manager needs to pick his two best wingers and just play them every week even when they go missing in a match. Talbi is one of them.
