Think ultimately we are basically safe, the club doubt Adingra has a future here and he isn't in the plans to be used much. Seems like they'd rather save a few quid and hope that Monaco buy him.

Would it be above board if all this was agreed to happen last Summer between SAFC and Monaco?

It seems so strange that a young player would only last 6 months and leave for the same amount we paid.

Sartori is Vice-President and a board member at Monaco, could it have been that we made a deal with a load of add-ons with Brighton, and we knew he wouldn't have to pay them as he'd be off to Monaco; Monaco wouldn't have to pay them either because they didn't sign him directly from Brighton? Ultimately Monaco will have signed a player for much less than they'd have had to potentially pay had they signed him directly from Brighton.
