Adingra on loan to Monaco confirmed

From Northern Echo below - sounds like we may feel we have enough cover...

Bertrand Traore is first choice right winger and now Habib Diarra is back fit, there's every chance Enzo Le Fee will play most of his football on the left in the second half of the season, particularly when Granit Xhaka is available again.

Romaine Mundle is fit again now and ahead of Adingra in the pecking order, as is Chemsdine Talbi and Trai Hume, who has played on the right side of the attack in recent weeks. Eliezer Mayenda has also been used out wide this season, as has Chris Rigg. Jocelin Ta Bi has also arrived this month.

That must be how much we paid for him upfront in the summer and he clearly hasn't done enough to warrant the add-ons. Making our money back.
Just shy of £15m

Perhaps the reassurances to Geertruida were “Adingra is leaving so Le Fee is a winger now”

We were never, ever going to get £21m back for him like.

Who in their right mind would give us our money back on a player who is clearly surplus to requirements? We have very little, if any leverage here.

If we were Monaco and agreed to pay £21m, everyone on here would be doing their nut in. But of course we're "mugs"

Sometimes you've just got to cut your losses and another 6 months of sitting on the bench here would only have seen his value depreciate further.

No but there’s no rumours or anything, Traore is out of contact in the summer and we are loaning out Adingra, you would like to think we are in the market for a winger.
"Rumours" :lol: :lol:

We hold a 1 year extension on Traore's contract, so you can wring out your bed sheets over that one.
Adingra isn't up to the physicality of the PL, so we are getting the best deal we can for him (close to our money back)
We have Mundle getting back up to full sharpness, we also have Diarra and Le Fee more than capable of playing on the wings.
We also have Ta Bi whom we know nothing about, so cannot just say he's not up to it.

4 wingers at the club, plus 2 or 3 midfielders capable of playing wide. Of course a replacement would be good, but it's not going to kill us if we don't.

We’ve got nothing back for him apart from the loan fee if that’s even seen out

Bench is going to be weaker going forward mind. Wasn't great last week and we've lost a few more.
This is my concern, I think we’ve used the bench well this season in the main, quality drop off not huge and it has helped to win and shore up games.

RLB himself talked about finishers

I’m worried we won’t have that till the end of the season now placing more pressure and load on the starters.

I'd suggest the club have far more than enough credit in the bank on recruitment to be trusted on this one.
Hes been poor and its an opportunity to get our money back . We also had an unbalance in the squad with bar traore all our other wingers are better off the left

He scored a Worldie against Leeds recently and no doubt he will do well in France.

If we can get 30 million for him in the summer that would be good business.

He's played a part in 60% of our premier league games.
He's played a total of 658 minutes in the 16 Premier League games that he's played in, never completing a full 90 minutes in the nine games he has started. This is about 31.5% of the minutes he could have played. The fact that Le Bris has restricted his time on the pitch speaks volumes. By comparison, Talbi has played 930 minutes in the 17 games he has been available for the club, featuring in all of them. This represents about 61% of the possible minutes he could have played.
